The viewer identifies with Evil Ducky and enters a reflection or mirror of daily life. Evil Ducky deploys themes like the ambiguity of mixed signals, the dualistic nature of communication, the layers of meaning beneath the surface. The humor is in a personal interpretation, in reading of context and text within an image, how what we see is altered by what we're told about it.
