Local artist Lise Melhorn-Boe will be exhibiting recent bookworks at the White Water Gallery. Melhorn-Boe combines various media to create books that re-tell classic fairytales through a feminist lens. The work includes pieces made from collage, fabric, and mixed media.

In an essay written to accompany the exhibition, Dr. Tara Hyland-Russell, Associate Dean of Students at St. Mary's University College in Calgary, writes, "Melhorn-Boe simultaneously provokes the delight of the fairytale and subverts its cultural hold."
